This course, taught in three parts over a 9-week period, explores historic and contemporary intersections of Jewishness and Latinidad as shaped by the US-Mexico border.

Maxwell Ezra Greenberg is a sixth-year doctoral candidate in the César E. Chávez Department of Chicana/o studies at UCLA. He was the 2018-19 Skirball Fellow in Modern Jewish Culture.
