Come out to the Tucson Festival of Books this weekend, March 12th to the 13th, at the UA Press tent and support two of the Southwest Center Series’ authors by purchasing a book at their signings. Join David Yetman, on Saturday from 10 am to 10:30 am for the signing of his recent publication, “National Landmarks of Arizona,” an homage to Arizona’s extensive geological past through the eyes of a celebrated storyteller. On Sunday from 10 am to 10:30 am, join Carolyn Niethammer, a born and raised Arizonan and author of “American Indian Cooking: Recipes from the Southwest” and “Daughters of the Earth,” for the signing of her 2020 publication, “A Desert Feast: Celebrating Tucson's Culinary Heritage,” a food pilgrimage of recipes and stories that demonstrates why the desert city of Tucson became America’s first UNESCO City of Gastronomy. We look forward to seeing you there!
