Carlos Quintero earned a M.A. in Mass Communications from UT Austin and has been a communications professor and researcher in Mexico, Spain and the US, focusing on journalistic writing, public opinion and propaganda. He co-authored two editions of Escribir en Prensa, used extensively in universities in Spain, Latin America and the US.
Quintero has worked in different areas of digital marketing for the last two decades, mostly for Yahoo! and Google, and is currenty working on expanding into a book his thesis about the Spanish edition of the Reader´s Digest during the Cold War
