Adam Hannuksela

Adam Hannuksela was born in Arizona and lives in Southern Sonora and the American West. He holds a bachelors degree from Evergreen State College and a masters in science from Central Washington University. Since 2002 he has lived on the Pitaya coast of Sonora, Mexico, and worked in conservation and wildlife monitoring and research. He helped found and operate the Navopatia Field Station. He initiated and runs one of the longest operating ecological monitoring programs in Sonora. He has worked throughout Sonora, Sinaloa, and the American West on a multitude of conservation projects. He enjoys all Mexican food, arid lands, and cold beverages on warm days.
